How many links should you exchange per month?
I have heard that there is a quota, but no specifics.
Waiting for your suggestions. |

It's only 2 link exchanges per day. No wonder it's growing so slowly. Minimum must be at least 10.

Hi Edmund, welcome to TedallSearch.
I see nothing wrong with getting too many links in a short period of time. I saw a lot of new sites that became popular very quickly, got tons of links per day and they rank well.
The trick is to keep the number constant. Lets say..If you get 1000 links in one day you'll have to get 1000 every day. If your site gets 1000 links all the sudden and after that it gets only a few links per day, that will raise a flag to Google.
If you are talking only about reciprocal links, don't worry about exchanging too many. It takes them some time to approve your link and it also takes time for Google to detect that link (sometimes months). Although I think 5-10 exchanges per day are more than enough.
Most importantly, be patient and take your time to find quality link partners that will add a valuable resource to your website. |
