If you submit your new website to Google via their regular submission form, it usually takes weeks, even months until Google visits your site.
A way to get your site indexed by Google within hours and not within month, is to get links from high Page Rank sites (PR6+)
You are going to ask "How an Earth am I going to get a link from PR 7 site, without paying?"
Simple  Join high page rank forums such as SitePoint.com PR8 and forum.StatCounter.com PR8. Add your link in the signature and profile. Participate in the discussions and sign your posts.
Important: Do not spam the forums. Join discussions if you really have something to say about the topic.
